I think it’s clear I’m a little obsessed with Pinterest, ok I’m SUPER obsessed with Pinterest, lol, I can’t help it. Well, at least it’s not a bad obsession because I may sit on Pinterest ALL day but I’m also GROWING THIS BLOG and making EXTRA MONEY to invest!!!!
I actually don’t sit on Pinterest ALL day, I want to, but I don’t because I have a PINTEREST schedule!! I use Tailwind to schedule most of my pins but I still get on there about 1-2x per day to repin other people’s pins and manually pin from my site and my affiliate partners.
But to make it a little easier this is my exact Pinterest schedule;
- Once a week I sit down and schedule a minimum of 40-50 pins to go out each day throughout the day. The goal is for a pin to publish twice within the hour. That way if I’m super busy that day I know my Pinterest is still moving and automatically driving traffic to my site.
- I’ve added Pinterest to my morning and night routine. I spend the first 20 mins of my workday pinning. I add things to my Tailwind schedule, repin some of my follower’s pins, repin a lot of the suggestions by Pinterest and create some graphics to help drive more traffic to the blog and I share 2-3 affiliate products.
- Then before I go to bed I’ll spend another 20-30mins on there just randomly pinning things from my sites, my affiliate shop, and things I posted on Instagram, and because I have the Tailwind extension it’s super easy to schedule my own repins from my Pinterest page and affiliate partners. So what I’ll do is schedule some of the BEST pins to repin at a later date. That helps a lot because it’s content my current followers love and I know my new followers will want to see.
So as you can see my Pinterest schedule is scheduling content once a week to out 2x every hour and spending about 45mins to an hour in the morning and before bed. Honestly, 45 minutes is a lot of time on Pinterest because you can actually schedule ALL of your Pinterest for the ENTIRE week but I do love getting in there and repin other people’s cute stuff!!!
