The key to building on Pinterest is PINNING. As a new Pinner, you should be pinning at least 10x per day. I am currently pinning a minimum of 20x per day, of course, I use Tailwind to schedule my pins but I make sure every single one of my blog posts is being shared on Pinterest as soon as it hits the blog. I use @SmartQueue for that.
But one of the quickest and easiest ways to grow your blog is by sharing your blog posts on Pinterest EVERY SINGLE DAY. Of course, the more boards you have the easier this posting system will be. I have over 80 boards so it’s easy to not keep sharing them in one board over and over and Pinterest has a minimum of where you can only post the same pin in 10 different boards.
So here are my 3 easy steps to SHARE YOUR BLOG POSTS ON PINTEREST and what I personally do
- 1-Use a Pin scheduler to
auto-post your pins or manual pin content from your blog posts - 2-Share different pictures from the same posts into multiple boards, including group boards.
- 3- Then use the Tailwind interval option to schedule more pins for later in the week or the month.
What I do:
I have 5 top boards that I share my blog content in automatically daily via SmaterQueue
- New On The Blog
- Fashion Bloggers Style Inspiration
- Black Girl Magic
Priiincesss Style- Share Your Blog
I automatically let my scheduled content go into those boards because I know regardless of what my team and I share on the blog it will always fit into one of these boards if not all. And with the exception of the last group board all the boards I listed belong to me. So if anything I can easily repin the post into a different board.
The more I study my analytics the more I see Pinterest as a source of traffic. So if you are not pinning your posts on Pinterest you are leaving money on the table.
