WHY XLY IS MY FAVORITE ETF TO INVEST IN THIS YEAR
My thing is if I can spend money on random things daily then I can definitely invest in my future daily. Yes, today we are talking about my current favorite ETF.
First off Priiincesss what is an ETF? Well ETF stands for Exchange-traded funds. ETFs allow investors to own shares in multiple stocks without actually owning each stock individually. I tell my Black Wealth Squad ALL the time if you are going to have a small amount of shares in 20+ stocks it’s best to just get an ETF. Because ETFs are one of the easiest ways to invest in the stock market with little to no experience or knowledge.
Lately I’ve been getting questions about ETF’s so figured today I’ll share my top favorite ETF to invest in this year. Yes, you can purchase ETFs from most brokekage accounts but personally I’m with Fidelity so I purchase my ETF’s there. Ok, let’s get into my favorite ETF.
My current favorite ETF is Consumer Discret Sel Sect SPDR® ETF (XLY) Why because I am a BIG consumer, I spend daily so I should be investing DAILY.
XLY IS MY FAVORITE ETF TO INVEST IN THIS YEAR
And that’s top 15 holdings out of 62 holdings. I spent a lot of time this year looking into different ETF’s, their holdings and XLY is a solid ETF for longterm investors like myself. It’s top 15 holdings alone are companies I love and consume daily. And they are companies most of us BLACK PEOPLE and spend our money on DAILY. So if you are in search of an ETF to start your portfolio definitely checkout XLY.
How I invest daily; I have this habit before I spent money on something I check to see if it’s publicly traded but of course I can’t buy EVERYTHING so what I do is buy a fraction of this XLY. For example, I LOVEEEE Chipotle. But I don’t own Chipotle stock, but Chipotle is a holding in XLY and my Chipotle chicken bowl normally cost me $7.92 so what I do is invest $7.92 in XLY each time I eat Chipotle, lol.
