Fruits And Vegetables Substitution Guide

I understand your feelings; it’s perfectly okay not to like certain fruits and vegetables, and allergies can complicate things too. Personally, I can’t stand celery and beets, and I’m not a fan of cabbage in my juice or the taste of peaches. The list of dislikes goes on! To help with this, I’ve created a substitution list that makes it simple to swap out ingredients you may not enjoy.

Apple: pear. any grapes. cherries. blackberries. blueberries.
Blueberries: Blackberries. strawberries. raspberries.. cherries.
Basil: parsley.. cilantro,, mint
Beets: red cabbage.. tomato.. radish. 
Cantaloupe:mango.. papaya.. peach.. honeydew melon.
Carrots: sweet potato/yam.. winter squash.. pumpkin.. parsnip.
Celery: cucumber.. zucchini..
Cherries: raspberries.. strawberries.. blackberries.
Cilantro: basil.. parsley.
Collard greens: mustard greens.. kale.. spinach.
Cranberries: cherries.. raspberries.
Cucumber: celery.. zucchini. 
Ginger: lemon.. Lime. 
Grapefruit:clementine.. orange.. tangerine.. star fruit
Cabbage: kale.. arugula.. chard.
Green peppers: red or yellow peppers.
Honeydew: green grapes.. cantaloupe.. apple..
Kale: arugula. spinach. 
Swiss chard: green cabbage. mustard/collard.
Kiwi: mango.. orange.. tangerine.
Lemon: Lime.. ginger.
Lime:lemon.. orange. 
Mango: papaya.. kiwi.
Mint: ginger>> sweet basil.
Orange: grapefruit.. clementine.. tangerine.. kiwi..
Parsley: cilantro.. kale.. arugula. 
Peaches: nectarines.. plums.
Pear: apple.. celery.. peach.. plum.
Pineapple: orange.. grapefruit.. mango,
Pomegranate: pineapple.. strawberries.
Radish >> red cabbage.. tomato. 
Romaine lettuce >> green/red leaf lettuce.
Rosemary: Thyme. 
Spinach >> kale.. chard.. romaine lettuce.
Strawberries:	raspberries.. blackberries.. cherries.
Swiss chard: kale. spinach. lettuce mustard/collard greens cabbage. 
Tangerine: orange.. grapefruit.
Thyme: rosemary.
Tomato: watermelon.
Watermelon:red grapefruit.. cantaloupe. honeydew, tomato.
