A 30-Day Gut Health Challenge: Fresh Whole Foods and Juice Recipes for a Healthy Lifestyle
The Challenge
Everyday for 30 days do this: Replace 2 of your meals with fresh juices and 2 healthy snacks.
- Breakfast: 32oz Juice
- Lunch: High Protein Filling Meal
- 2 Snacks: Clean light snacks
- Dinner: 32oz Juice
- Before Bed: Ginger Tea
The gut microbiome is a diverse community
of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and other microbes residing in your gastrointestinal tract. This intricate ecosystem influences various aspects
of your health, including digestion, nutrient absorption, immune response, and even
mood regulation.
September Gut Health Challenge
My challenge for you this month is to Limit Processed Foods and processed Sugar:
Eating processed foods and consuming high amounts of processed sugar can have a detrimental effect on your gut health as they encourage the proliferation of harmful bacteria, leading to various health issues. Many individuals experience bloating, and constipation, and struggle with weight loss due to poor gut health.
I frequently receive comments from many of you stating that they shouldn’t drink juices due to high sugar content, being diabetic, having high blood pressure, and so on. I assure you that fresh juice is not the issue. Your health problems are likely caused by the processed foods and drinks you consume daily. Try keeping track of your food intake for 24 hours. Just to see how you feel. Then I challenge you to replace everything with delicious fresh, whole foods and notice the difference in how you look and feel in less than 30 days.
I challenge you to  try this
Start your day with a glass of water and 32oz of juice for breakfast. When you feel hungry for lunch enjoy a delicious filling meal. The goal is to consume good delicious filling meals and less junk and processed foods.
Throughout your day continue to enjoy delicious clean snacks, lunch, and dinner. The best way to avoid processed and sugary foods is to eat fresh foods. Fresh veggies, fruits. Whole foods. Create a weekly meal plan for yourself and prep your meals ahead to make this challenge a little easier.
*My goal for you is to replace your breakfast with juices but if
you feel like you want to replace dinner instead that’s fine but don’t replace lunch because
lunch is the meal you have the most opportunities to burn off throughout the day based on your schedule.
*And oh, ALSO remove sodas, bread, junk food, alcohol, and fast food completely from your diet for a month. Â Â
