3-Day Watermelon Cleanse: Refreshing and Hydrating Detox

Spring is officially here and we are embarking on a short hydrating and detoxing journey to reset our bodies. Here’s a simplistic guide to a 3-day watermelon cleanse designed to cleanse your system, get rid of waste and toxins, improve digestion, help you reset, and help you feel rejuvenated.

  • 1 Galon of Watermelon Juice Each Day

You can make this recipe or just drink watermelon juice for the next 3 days

  • 1 Big Watermelon
  • 2 Pineapples
  • 4 Pint Strawberries

Day 1: Introduction to Simplicity

Breakfast.. Lunch.. & Dinner..

  • 32oz of juice or more if needed
    • Drink at least 62oz of water

Mid-Morning Snack:

  • Fresh watermelon slices or watermelon balls
  • 16oz of juice or more if needed

Afternoon Snack:

  • Watermelon juice
  • 16oz of juice or more if needed

Day 2: Deepening the Cleanse

Breakfast.. Lunch.. & Dinner..

  • 32oz of juice or more if needed
    • At least 62oz of water

Mid-Morning Snack:

  • A glass of watermelon juice with a teaspoon of chia seeds
  • 16oz of juice or more if needed

Afternoon Snack:

  • Watermelon and lime popsicles (homemade with no added sugar)
  • 16oz of juice or more if needed

Day 3: Wrapping Up the Cleanse

Breakfast.. Lunch & Dinner

  • 32oz of juice or more if needed
    • At least 62oz of water

Mid-Morning Snack:

  • A bowl of diced watermelon
  • 16oz of juice or more if needed

Afternoon Snack:

  • A simple watermelon salsa with cucumber, berries, and a splash of lime juice
  • 16oz of juice or more if needed

Before Bed:

  • To complete the cleanse enjoy a cup of chamomile or peppermint tea, herbal tea.. Or lactation tea (for my fellow breastfeeding mamas)
