Ok, let’s get into these New Plus Size Bloggers
1. Kayla Anderson (TheLushDiva)
The Lush Diva is a blogger and business owner based out of South Carolina whose primary goal is to help women grow abundantly confident through affordable fashion and beauty. Soon after launching her e-commerce site, The Lush Diva started her blog so she could spread the tips she routinely shared with her customers with women all over.
2020 Goals: LushDivas ltd co. is a business that is continuously evolving to meet the needs of our customers. In the next year, we hope to expand our product line with lush loungewear and to continue to provide high-quality beauty accessories that help every woman discover her inner diva. As for her blog, Lush has been working extremely hard to create high-quality content in the realms of fashion and beauty for her followers. Lush hopes to become a household name on her ability to inspire confidence within women!
2. Jeaiza Quinones (GyulMeetsWorld)
Jeaiza Quinones is a plus-size model, blogger, and content creator from the U.S. Virgin Islands. She owns and operates Gyul Meets World, a blog named after the 90s sitcom “Boy Meets World” as a tribute to the show’s coverage of a wide range of life lessons and growing pains. In St. Croix, where she was born and raised, the word “gyul” is the Crucian dialect for “girl.” This reflects her mission to incorporate Caribbean culture into everything that she does. Currently, Gyul Meets World is a hub for all those who don’t necessarily fit into societal norms: plus size women, people of color, and people of Caribbean descent who often have difficulty breaking into influencer spaces or accepting themselves for who they are.
2020 Goals: I hope to launch my first podcast under the same name (Gyul Meets World) as well as to begin funding other aspiring content creators. The ultimate goal is to sponsor three creators next year with the tools they need to launch their dream projects.
3. Alicia Young (APYBlog)
Alicia, aka AP, is a writer, blogger, and public speaker who has built her platform on speaking her truth regardless of how unflattering it might be. Her Blog APYoungBlog is amazing. Her advocacy includes but is not limited to mental health awareness, body diversity, navigating life with chronic illness, and parenting children with special needs. AP has a fierce love of all things fashion and beauty; as a result, she launched her very own cosmetics line AP Young Beauty Collection in May 2019. Her goal with AP Young Beauty is to provide affordable cosmetics; beauty on a budget!
2020 Goals: In the future, I’d love for my blog to become synonymous with being a resource for self-care. As for AP Young Beauty Collection, the goal is to continue to grow until we are a household name.
4. Tiffany Turner (iLoveMeSooMuch)
Tiffany is a native of Huntsville, Alabama, with a passion in life to inspire and support others. She has taken her passion and previous life experience and turned it into a brand. Tiffany is the creator of ILovemesomuch, a lifestyle and self-love blog created for women of all ages. As a Lifestyle Blogger, she shares resources on how to incorporate self-love into our everyday lives.
Tiffany focuses on everything from fashion, travel, spiritual growth, mental health, emotional well being, and an environmental mindset. She has been blogging for two years and looks forward to the future ahead. Tiffany believes learning to love yourself will help “curve” the way for a happy and healthy life. Tiffany’s goal in life is to “create her own story.”
2020 Goals: To produce new and creative content that will help me flourish as a digital influencer/blogger. Develop my brand as an entrepreneur and network as much as possible.
5. Marcia (Undercoverfashionista)
In 2015 Marcia began blogging under the alias The Undercover Fashionista. Her blog was intended to help her heal while on a journey of self-love. Through her blog, she shares stories about her personal growth and her passion for fashion. Inspired by her sense of style, followers began requesting her expertise for their personal wardrobe and branding projects.
2020 Goals: My goal for the future is to grow my blog and styling business, in hopes of reaching more people, and inspiring them to see the best in themselves.
Honorable Mention: Me, Tiffany Smith (BeauTIFFullyme)
Tiffany Smith is a plus-size lifestyle blogger and content creator based out of North Carolina who runs the blog BeauTIFFullyme. Her viral Instagram page, @beautiffullyme, is a comedic reflection of her website that hosts: blog, modeling portfolio, and links to all of her social media, including her growing Youtube Channel. As a blogger, she has a strong following of women who follow her to gain insight into plus-size trends, fashions, products, and events. She often shoots “Get Ready With Me” or “Behind the Scenes” videos showcasing the glow-up from 9-5 mom to date night fashionista. She will be our guest blogger for the month of October
2020 Goals: My goals include becoming a visible anchor in the plus-size community, continuing to be a positive force, and of course, take over the world!
