Priiincesss Staycation is a little piece of magic I look forward to every single month. And this month was once again, MAGICAL!! We had some of the most amazing creative friends stopped by to hangout with us. We played games, had dinner and did a whole lot of MONEY TALK!!

Ok, let’s explore the day…

After unpacking and setting up the very first thing we always do while Quan is prepping the food and is our MAKEUP. Yes, Jojo beat my face then her’s. By the time we halfway through my face our photographer Stanley will have arrived and capture some cute shots of our BEAT faces!!

YESSSSSSS!!! Jojo is our officially Priiincesss Staycation makeup artist and as you can see she KILLED IT!!

As soon as we get done with makeup Jojo and I will get dressed and shoot our individual OOTD for our blogs with Stanley. The goal is always to capture our looks but we also like to showcase the home as much as we can. This staycation home wasn’t as big as the last home but the decor was absolutely beautiful and our pictures came out GREAT!!

THE FOOD- Let’s get to the FOOD

As always the food was AMAZING!! Chef Quan went with a semi-BBQ style menu and as you can see the food was spectacular!! Pulled BBQ chicken, yummy yellow rice, baked beans and my potato salad…

The appetizer sliders were so good and we killed them within mins. lol. So figured I’ll share the exact recipe and the cooking direction in case you guys want to try them at home. and if you want more recipes definitely keep up with Chef Quan in his @CookingWithQuan Facebook group and follow him on the gram as @CookinWithQuan.

And ohhhh, this Staycation I made my yummy potato salad and our guest LOVED it. I don’t like to cook but when I do cook I like to think I kill it, lol… I’ve been making my potato salads for my friends for years now and its requested every single outing!!

Our dinner discussion was ALL about finances and asking the hard questions. We talked about savings, investing, taxes, and our clients and late fees!! I will say I learned the most from this Staycation than I did in the last 2.
