Last week we talked about 5 great foundations all from black-owned companies well this week lets follow that up with some great eyeshadow palettes that pop on melanin-rich skin. I am bless with a dark complexion and I look for pallets that can pop on my skin with or without a primer. That is why I want to share with you guys the 5 eye-shadow pallets that pop on dark skin.

Juvia’s Place

Last week we ended the blog post of with Juvia’s Place and that is where we are starting today. I first knew Juvia’s place for their popping eyeshadow palettes and they are the truth.

The first palette they released was the Nubian palette and I remember thinking these colors work well with my regular day wear. The Nubian eye shadow palette features, an essential collection of neutral colors. The Nubian pallet has 4 Transition Matte and 8 Shimmery Pearl Textured Colors. If you are not into bright colors but still love a great eye this palette is for you. I am on my second one of this palette but keep in mind I made my first purchase in 2015 and just replaced this last month.

The Crayon Case

The Crayon Case Cosmetics is the brainchild of Reynell “SUPA CENT” Steward. A New Orleans native who cultivated a reputation as someone who is true to themselves. We first saw her on the show Kitchen Nightmares where she honestly answered Chef Gordan Ramsey’s questions with and wit. She later became a viral session with her honest videos discussing things that we are were thinking. Early 2017, Supa became immersed in the beauty industry, working tiredly we see the birth of The Crayon Case.

The Box of Crayons palette boasts beautiful vibrant colors to create any look. The shadows have rich pigmentation and variety in colors and hues. The Matte Book palette is ALWAYS sold out. I tried to purchase it during a sale and by the time i clicked buy, honey it was GONE!! This 26 color matte palette consists of wild and bright colors. Perfect for the queen who LOVES color and neutral shades. As you see in the picture the palette comes with  larger transition shades to provide any look you desire. Black Up Cosmetics

Black Up is the first French beauty brand dedicated to women of color. The Paris-based line is known for its range of professional-quality makeup that is developed for and by women of color. Black Up believes answering specific needs for darker complexions.

The Black Smoky Palette like man of the Black Up products has intense pigmentation specially selected to stand out on coloured skin. This palette enables unlimited Smoky make-up variations, even for the darkest skin. You can purchase the palette at Macy’s for $53.

Danessa Myricks Beauty

Danessa Myricks beauty is an artisanal brand developed by Daneesa Myricks a makeup artist, photographer, and entrepreneur. Finally the last of my 5 eye-shadow pallets that pop on dark skin is The Bake Shop. A new cosmetics line created by a young entrepreneur named Kae Ran. In February of this year, the Bake Shop Cosmetic official launched with Glitters and two palettes. Now there have greatly expanded their line and are still growing. The Box Of Cookies Palette is a combination of Browns and Bronzes that is practical for everyday wear or for a grand evening. This palette is for the everyday woman who wants to pop but isn’t looking for extremely bright colors. It is an extremely buildable pallet and the fall out is minimal. This palette will cost you $18.

Pastry Tarts is an awesome 12 color high pigment palette. This is the palette for the woman who loves color on her lids. This palette will cost you $20.

All these palettes are beautiful and bright, and wonderful for any meline infuse goddess. I love all these palettes and the fact that they belong to companies from black women who created their companies by themselves from the ground up.
