4 Ways to Fall in Love with Yourself
It’s A New MONTH!!! And we are ready for fall FASHION!!! But before you put on that FIERCE outfit, take a moment and assess how you feel about yourself. Wearing leopard print this fall won’t help your self-esteem increase if you’re not already in love with yourself. The buzz word “self-care” has been thrown around so loosely this year. We have completely associate the phrase with drinking sparkling rose’ and spa days. However, the phrase “self-care” has more meaning then that. That is why I am sharing with you 4 ways to fall in love with yourself and stay in love.
Do What’s Best For You
First thing first, your life is yours. No one living on this earth can tell you what’s truly best for you. You are a unique and special individual that have a blueprint that is especially tailorded for your life. Not only is that blueprint tailored for you it also points you in the direction you need to head in.
Take it from me, I know first hand that those who are closes to you are the most opinionated. They mean well, but they don’t know what it means to be in your shoes. So, therefore, they aren’t capable of knowing what’s best for you.
Sometimes we may look up to a mentor or have a coach but they can’t tell us about our lives purpose. That is something we have to figure out on our own. Don’t mistake people’s ability to help guide you as a stamp of approval of who you are. And who you are designed to be as a contributor to this world.
Self-reflect On The Positivity In Your Life
We can all write a list of things that can or has gone wrong in our lives. But how about, focusing more on the positivity in your life? Keep that same energy that you give your “woe is me” moments and reflect more on what’s going right in your life. Shifting your mindset will have you falling in love with yourself quickly because you are training your mind to be grateful. Doing so is exactly what we call the law of attraction. You want to fall in love with yourself more by being appreciative of the life you’ve been given.
Take Care Of Yourself
The second tip on my list of 4 ways to fall in love with yourself is by taking care of yourself. When you take care of yourself, you emotionally feel better. There are many ways for you to take care of you. Maybe eating a healthier diet, getting rest when needed, exercising journaling, or prayer and meditation. Once you notice that your body reacts positively to these lifestyle changes you’ll be falling in love with yourself. Plus, others will always want to be around you. No one wants to be around a Debbie Downer, so if you don’t like something about yourself, CHANGE IT!
Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself.
We are our own worst critics and that criticism is tethered in every part of our lives. Take your negative thoughts, doubts or fears and toss them so far from your mind that it can never be rediscovered again. Falling in love with yourself and staying in love with yourself is something on-going. It is something that you must do internally to reap the benefits externally in your life.
You are amazing no matter what the naysayers tell you. Don’t rely on the thoughts and opinions of other people who wouldn’t dare walk a mile in your shoes. Even if it seems like they wear the same size as you. They can’t access your greatness! Create the boundaries you need to with yourself and others to fall more in love with yourself.
