This past Saturday, the Priiincesss Photography Team had the pleasure of covering the Girls With Bibles’ Bloom You Brunch!!! The Bloom You Brunch is a fun filled event where women of faith can come to network, inspire, collaborate, and enjoy tasty food while taking in all the gems from some dynamic speakers. The color theme for this month’s Bloom You Brunch was All Shades of Pink. And boy did these ladies come “dressed to impress”.

The keynote speaker this time around was, Elizabeth Kokou. Elizabeth is an amazing powerhouse woman of God! She’s an amazing stylist, a mother of two, and also a beauty blogger. She gave us a powerful message on transitioning and positioning yourself to take on your next level.

Elizabeth used Esther from the Bible as a metaphor to describe the importance of moving with faith. Esther was a gorgeous young lady who was chosen to be the Queen to King Ahasuerus because of her beauty, charisma, and precocious tact. Later after becoming Queen, she found out about a plot being hatched by the King’s assistants. She got this information to the King, and the King’s assistants were executed; Esther also prevented the slaughter of millions of Jewish people.

The point of the story was to show that God puts us in certain positions for a reason, and we have to be obedient to Him. Esther was divinely chosen to be Queen, whether she knew it or not. And because of that position (and her obedience to God and the King), an entire Kingdom and group of people were saved. Elizabeth gave us Esther Chapter 2 as reference, if you want to read the story.

Not only did we receive an energetic message from the keynote speaker, we also received positive vibes and affirmations from Ruth, the host of Bloom You Brunch. She spoke about her journey of overcoming abuse, being obedient to God’s requests, and putting together the last Bloom You Brunch of the year. Her spirit is super humble, kind, and resilient. And even, though Ruth will be moving to Texas for a year, we can’t wait to see what God has in store for her when she makes it back to Atlanta!

As the event came to an end, Ruth took the moment to reward of few of her special guests with a book by author Borley G. Quaye called “Worth the Wahala”.

And after that, of course it was time for more photo ops and networking!!!!
