Is Your Bag On Ready?

By: Shenelle Porter

I am a huge advocate of being prepared for the opportunities that you have been asking for. When I started on my entrepreneurial journey two years ago, I was praying and manifesting daily.  I found myself scripting and working on increasing my vibrations but guess what? Doing those things only took me a part of the way. I told myself that I wanted to build my coaching business and coach 5 clients per week, which was perfect for me since I was working a full-time job as well. Because I’ve been there I want to share with you 3 Ways To Stay Ready As A Boss Babe.

Here are 3 Things You Can Do To Have Your Bag On Ready

What does it mean to get your bag on ready? Well, that is simple. If you are ready to serve your cleints then you won’t have to get ready when they come knocking at the door of your business. That is the job of a boss babe. Always ready to serve the ones she set out to serve. And that is why I am sharing these 3 ways to stay ready as a boss babe. I mean I always stay ready and I want you to be too.

1.     Preparation + Systems

Preparation is KEY! When you are running your business you want to create an amazing customer experience, therefore your systems need to be in order prior to the interaction.

This means that the payment processor, scheduling system, proposal, invoice, etc all need to be on standby for easy access when the customer gives you that ‘yes’.

2.     Communicate With Confidence

Having your bag on ready means that you should be prepared to introduce yourself to ANYONE and give them a quick insight into what you do.

This is what most people call an “elevator speech”.

3.     Take Actions That Are In Alignment With Your Goals

If you know that you need 5 clients per week in order to meet your profit goals for the month, then every single thing you do needs to be in alignment with that.

Your social media content, marketing, sales strategies, collaborations, and even networking all need to be reflective of that.

Let me tell you about a pivotal learning moment that changed the way that I was handling my business.

The clients that I wanted to coach weekly, you know the five I mentioned?  Well…..ya girl was making progress. I mean…My calendar was filling up with consultations.   Someone finally said YES! I couldn’t believe it! Here was the very moment I was waiting for!  I was ecstatic! This was the very opportunity that I was in need of to transition to an offer and close the deal! Or so I thought.

The client was prepared to move forward, which was an amazing thing right?

As much as I prayed and manifested for this moment, I failed to prepare for the very moment I wanted desperately.  I remember the feeling of my heart sinking ever so slowly as my potential client asked me to send her the proposal so that she could pay her invoice.

That’s it folks my 3 ways to stay ready as a boss babe.
