Hey, darlings happy Sunday and welcome back to the blog!!! Soooo I am currently JUICING, yes boo, I have been juicing within the last 4 days and will be juicing until July 9th. It started as a 10 juicing challenge that Cici of The Juicing Chick started but I’m loving how I feel so I will be extending it until July. I have juiced before but I never document the process so figured I’ll share my regular updates and progress here with you guys.

I spend most of my day 1 planning for first 3 days and I am currently on day 4.

Ok, here we go, start here; The first thing I did was purchased my juicer, I came up with some recipes, I created a shopping list, stopped by my local farmers market, picked up everything from my shopping list and made 7-8 mason jars of 3 today at a time.

My Starter Shopping List: I came up with this list based on the recipes I decided on.

  • Beets
  • Oranges
  • Lemons
  • Ginger
  • Apples
  • Carrots
  • Kale
  • Spinach 
  • Pineapple

3 Starter Recipes: As a brand new juicer, I didn’t know what to create so I found these yummy recipes from doing my search as my starter guide but I am making my own recipes for the next 3 days.

10 DAY JUICING CHALLENGE *WEEK 1

The Immune Booster Juice: (current favorite)

  • 2 oranges, quartered (remove peel for less bitterness)
  • 1/4 lemon (remove peel for less bitterness)
  • 1 medium apple, cut into eighths
  • 1/2” fresh ginger

Pink Beauty 

  • 2 beets
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 apple
  • 5 kale leaves
  • 4 stalks celery (I don’t like celery, I did not add it)
  • 1 inch ginger

Pineapple and Kale Juice

  • 1/4 fresh pineapple and cut it into chunks
  • 4 Kale leaves fresh, roughly chopped
  • 4 Swiss chard leaves fresh roughly chopped
  • 1 lime peeled

10 DAY JUICING CHALLENGE

Daily juicing routine

  • Before my workout, I have my hot water with lemon
  • After my workout, I have more regular water
  • Then by 9 am I have my first juice. I start my day with the Immune Booster
  • I have some fruits in between
  • Then my 12 pm I have my 2nd juice of the day
  • Another snack- *fruits or you can do raw nuts (but I’m allergic to nuts)
  • At 2:30 pm I have my 3rd juice of the day
  • By 5:30 pm its time for my 4th juice of the day
  • And I close my day with on one more juice at 8:30pm.
