REAL QUICK: HOW TO CREATE A WATCHLIST
Heyyyyy darlings, HAPPY MONDAYYYYY, it’s time for a CHANGE. I know I’m always changing shit butttt, with the launching of my Black Wealth Shop I have to switch up my blogging schedule a little. Unfortunately, I am no longer doing weekly penny stocks watchlists. You guys already know I struggle with sharing penny stocks content on the internet because well, people are emotional traders and too afraid of losing money to actually make money with penny stocks. So, no more Penny Stocks watchlist BUT, I’m super excited to introduce, REAL QUICK!!!
What is Real Quick exactly? Real Quick is just a quick stock market tip from the most common questions I get. I really think people think investing in the stock market is hard but it’s really not. BUT I did find a lot of the content out there to be a little too hard to understand so I wanted to create an easy and simple way to learn about the stock market. So let’s dive into the first real quick.
Real Quick, how to create a watchlist.
The very first real quick is how to create a watchlist. I know this sound simple but I get questions OFTEN. So here are 3 things to keep in mind to create a growing watch list.
- Decide what type of watchlist you want to create. For example I have 3 watchlists. Because I’m a dividend investor I have a High Dividend Stocks watchlist that I only add stocks that pay at least a 2-3% dividend. My 2nd watchlist is my Penny Stocks watchlist. Every time I come across a penny stock I added it to my list and pull from it every week. And my 3rd watchlist is my Growth Stocks watchlist. That one is pretty much my hit list. It has all the top growth stocks like Tesla, Amazon, Netflix, Etsy, etc.
- Research each company on your watchlist. After you decide the type of watchlist you want to add now it’s time to find the exact stocks to add to your list ot lists. Start by doing your research. If you don’t even know where to start I would suggest starting with the things you use DAILY. Like your service providers, the household items you use. And let’s say you use Apple products, do a full research on Apple, check Apple’s financial report on Yahoo Finance, check it’s dividend history on Nasdaq.com and if you like what you see, add Apple to one of your watchlists.
- When to Buy the stocks from your watchlist: You have your watchlists, you’ve done your research, so now you want to know when to buy. Buy as you go. Come up with an investment goal and focus on 2-3 stocks every 3 months. Also, pay attention to your watchlist so you can take advantage of some of the stocks on your list every time the market is down and your favorite stocks are on sale.
And that’s pretty much how to create a watchlist. I truly hope this was helpful and please comment and let me know what you think.
