I have been juicing for almost 10 years on and off and after catching Covid TWICE. I had Covid in July 2021 and May 2022. So I decided to add juicing to my diet permanently. I know juicing is a lot of work, when I first started juicing I was pretty lost and didn’t know where to start. The key to successfully juicing is PLANNING. Fresh juices are typically good for up 3 days. So you can make a new batch every 3 days or make for the entire week and freeze half of them. The plastic bottles I recommended below are great for freezing. Just don’t fill the bottles all to the top if planning on freezing them.
I don’t start a new week without fresh juices. Based on my schedule I go to the Farmer’s Market once a week and I have 2 juicing days; Wednesday & Friday. Picking specific days to juice helps a lot with planning and makes the juicing process a whole lot easier. And oh, I spend about $50 a week on fruits and veggies.
QUICK TIPS
If using the bottles from the Juicing Tools sections above you should consume 7 16oz bottles of juice for a total of 112oz each day. Meaning, you should be drinking at least a gallon of juice per day. But of course some people may need more and some people may need less it all depends on your personal needs and how you feel. If you are not hungry, don’t drink. You don’t want to force it. The main goal is to give your digestive system a break so it can start to cleanse and detoxify your body.
I get all of my juicing tools from Amazon and buy most of my fruits & veggies from my local farmer’s market.
Only buy seeded fruits/veggies. If it doesn’t have seed and suppose to have seeds then it’s not real and you should not consume it.
• If you are new to juicing will have some bad cravings. So always have juice around so you never get hungry.
• If you can, do your best to use organic produce. But organic fruits and veggies are a little more pricey.
• No, you will not heal your body just in 7 days. But you will jumpstart the healing and detoxifying and weight lost journey.
• Take it slow, give yourself grace. Reversing the mental addicting to food takes time and effort.
• If you have symptoms that you normally don’t have, it’s most likely normal detox symptoms. So people experienced things like headaches, severe cravings, coldness, parasites and mucus purging, etc. I’ve personally experienced headaches when cleaning. Detoxification does come with symptoms. Not everyone is the same though.
