Embarking on a 30 day juice cleanse can be a transformative journey for your body, mind, and spirit.   • Check your health: Make sure you’re fit for this type of fast.

Plan Your Juices

  • Variety: Plan a variety of fruit and vegetable juices to ensure a broad intake of vitamins and nutrients. Juice can be quite pricey create recipes with seasonal products. Since I am during this cleanse during summer I am incorporating a lot of watermelon and berries into my juice recipes.
  • Plan ahead: Spend a few hours a week planning your juices for the coming week. Juices are good in airtight jars for 3-4 days. You can make a fresh batch every 3 days or make enough juices for the entire week and freeze half.
  • During a juice cleanse, it is generally recommended to consume about 96 ounces of juice per day. This can be divided into several servings to be consumed throughout the day. Additionally, ensure you drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. Adjust the quantity if necessary based on how your body feels.

Equipment Needed

  • Storage: Have containers ready for storing extra juice. Using aight tight glass containers like mason jars will keep your juices fresh longer. Walmart has the most affordable Mason Jars, check them out here and get plastic covers from Amazon, as metal covers will get rusty fast.

Week 1: Easing In

Focus on Gentle Juices

  • Gentle greens: Start with milder greens like spinach and mix with apples or pears. Start with these green juice recipes HERE.
  • Hydration: Drink plenty of water alongside your juices to stay hydrated. Try this infused water recipe. Lemon & Cuccumbers.

Weekly Goals

  • Mindfulness: Observe how your body reacts; reduce juice intake if you feel overly fatigued or dizzy.
  • Adjust: It’s important to listen to your body and adjust the types of juice or the frequency as necessary.

Week 2-4: Deepening the Fast

Nutrient Density

  • Increase variety: Incorporate a wider variety of vegetables, including kale, beets, and celery.
  • Include nuts: Soak nuts like almonds and include them in your juices for protein. You can even make almost milk and consume it like juice.
