LIFE: A LETTER TO MY EXES… DEAR EX 1..2..3…

Hey darlings, HAPPY THURSDAY and welcome back to another LIFE post!!! After watching this super cute video of Shannon ,of course I had to accept the tag and write a letter to MY EXES. Because well, I recently went through a breakup and that breakup was not only needed but it truly open my eyes and forced me to face my own sh*t.

I know she said 5 exes but honestly I only had three REAL exes so watch the video THEN read what I had to say to my EXES, below.

LETTER TO MY EXES… DEAR EX 1..2..3..

#EX #1… -Dear my first love….

Wow, I don’t even know where to begin,  our relationship definitely started on rocky side. I was super young, lying to my parents to see you type of young, lol. But you were amazing, you took care of me when I moved out as a teen. we loved each to the moon and back. I coudn’t pick a better person to share my first sexual experience with. You were gentle and thoughtful….. Life definitely gave us a run for our money, boy was it HARD.But through it ALL I was there, I was ALWAYS there……. Reason why it nearly BROKE me when it ended. I was HURT, you hurt me.. I NEVER forgave you. I carry the pain to EVERY part of my life. I became COLD and MEAN… But honestly if I had held on to the good parts of our relationship, WOW, I wouldn’t have been sooooo bitter for SOOOOO LONG. So thank you, thank you for loving me, teaching me soooooo much about life, people and the true meaning of unconditional LOVE.

EX #2… Dear Mr. Misleading….

You led me on, you told me you were also tired of the dating game and was ready to start building something meaningful. But you lied.. We were so good together. I enjoyed EVERY moment we spent together. Personally, I was going at your pace, YOU were always in the driver seat. So yes, I still don’t understand how things were moving too fast? No, I wasn’t in love with you yet, but our chemistry was UNDENIABLE,  I liked you a lot and it was just a matter of time before I did fall for you. But I’m glad I didn’t and you show your true intentions quite early on. So thank you for that. Thank you for not dragging me in longer than needed. That short and sweet moment we shared helped me realized I wanted love. I was finally ready to commit but I just had to find someone who wanted the same.

EX #3… Dear Babe….

WOW, this one still hurts. Because it’s SUPER fresh…. I LOVE YOU SOOOO MUCH but WOWWWW, soooooo much was missing. Our entire relationship was ON the surface. We never actually connected. We were never ONE. You were such an amazing guy, part of me was ok with settling with you. But God knows a girl like me simply couldn’t settle. You were older than me, you had been in previous relationships, you were even married at one point in your life but you still don’t know the first thing about love, communication and the importance of partnership within a relationship.  I wasn’t perfect, I was extremely impatient but through it I was ALWAYS there. You never took the time to get to know me, inside out…. I needed more, you needed less, I was willing to give me more and you were willing to give less… You and I were never a match. We should have actually end it a lot earlier. We both deserve much more than each other….. Regardless how it played out ALL I wanted to do was LOVE you. So THANK YOU, thank you for helping me realize I need a guy who sees me as God’s sent. Our breakup truly forced me to work on me in order to attract the exact love I deserve. Settling is simply NOT an option. I have 100%, fully accepted this is it for us, we had AMAZING times and you were always a gentlemen. Again, Thank you.

…….

Wow, well, ok, lol. If any of my exes actually read these just know you were ALL kings in eyes, each and every one of you will always have a special place in my heart and I am who I am today because of you all. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, and THANK YOU!!!

One thing the last breakup taught me is that yes, it will hurt like HELL but it’s important to look past the hurt and see the good in every breakup. There’s always a lesson somewhere under ALL the pain and heartache. It’s not the end of the world and life goes on. Simple.

And that’s it. Now, my readers, darlings I challenge YOU, to write a letter to YOUR exes. Of course you welcome to do a blog post, video and or a simple social media post. I’ll love to read it, tag me or comment below.

WOW!! GIRL, IT TAKES BALLS TO DO THAT. I ALMOST CRY WHILE READING IT. I CAN’T SAY THAT I HAVE EXES BECAUSE THEY ALL WERE ONE WAY THING. JUST BE PATIENT BECAUSE GOD IS CUSTOMIZED YOURS.

I think you are amazing for this! To sit down and pull the good out of the bad takes maturity, maturity which I do not have. I still find myself at times to be in the hatred phase when memories pop up. I can’t see the good or refuse to acknowledge it at all. The only good I see now is that we are not together.

I feel you, it’s not easy but this last breakup taught me a lot and truly understand those guys were just not my forever. And there were more good than bad in every one of my past relationships.
